Education

We believe a strong public education system is fundamental to a thriving democracy. We believe education should be understood as a public good, not a consumer good. We study the ways that privatization, such as voucher programs, charter schools, and the outsourcing of educational support services within schools, contribute to inequality, discriminate, exclude, and lack accountability and transparency.
